We welcome and appreciate your letters/e-mails regarding how we are doing at ¿Qué Pasa, OSU? Here is a sample of the latest feedback we have received. Keep your comments coming.

My name is Jessica Cruz and I visited OSU as a prospective graduate school student during a McNair Visitation Day this past summer. It was at this event that I received a copy of the bilingual issue of ‘¿Qué Pasa OSU?’(Summer 2005). I just recently took another look at the issue and was very impressed. I usually find myself frustrated with incorrect translations, but this was not at all the case this time. Everything seemed culturally and linguistically accurate. It was extremely well done.

Dear Qué Pasa team,
Wow—I just read through the Winter 2006 issue of Qué Pasa. I’m very pleased to see how the magazine continues to mature. There is a great balance of the cultural and social (celebratory) articles with research- and scholarship focused articles. This issue does a fabulous job of reflecting how Latin@s at OSU help shape the intellectual and social achievements of the campus, and I believe, sends powerful messages to our younger students about what is possible for them.

I’m very proud of the great work you are doing!

My copy of ¿Qué Pasa, OSU? arrived today, and I wanted to thank you for sending it to me. I’ve leafed through it quickly and am impressed with the range of information you all have provided on student leadership. I look forward to reading the magazine more closely when I get home this evening.

Congratulations on producing such a rich and informative issue. I’m sure all of your readers will find it very helpful and interesting.

I just received a copy of the Winter 2006 edition of ¿Qué Pasa, OSU?, and wanted to commend you for the excellent articles included. From student profiles (Anthony Gonzalez), to multiple social events, research, scholarships, deans advice, civil organization activities, and even Latin@ restaurants, the magazine provides a comprehensive view of excellent efforts at OSU to continuously improve services to Latin@s.

Normando, in particular, your article on Latin@ recruitment has a powerful message of the importance of this topic.
